Learning Objectives:

Discuss advanced resuscitation concepts that can be applied to medical and undifferentiated patients of all age groups.
Identify and discuss current medical literature pertaining to the resuscitation of select critically ill emergency department patients.
Discuss a resuscitative approach to select critically ill patients, such as those with acute liver failure, cardiac tamponade, undifferentiated hypotension, cardiac arrest, and sepsis.
