While medical content is deeply covered during residency this session will help residents become attendings. From important charting pearls to optimize billing, to understands metrics such as MIPS this crash course helps future attendings start off on the right foot by understanding everything that goes on as an attending that has nothing to do with seeing patients. This course will help participants understand basics of RVUs, quality metrics and patient satisfaction metrics which will be incredibly important for success in their career.
Learning Objectives:
After this session the learner will be able to understand how quality metrics such as MIPS are determined and play a roll in seeing patients.
After this session the learner will have a basic understanding of the creation of a well constructed note with pearls to optimize reimbursement
After this session the learner will be able to understand how RVUs are accrued and the impact that may have on their contracts.
