Dr. Joelle Borhart is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine, Residency Program Director and works clinically at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. She is passionate about OB/GYN emergencies and women's health issues and takes pride in creating presentations that are practical and accessible to clinicians of all levels. She is especially honored to have been named Speaker of the Year by her residents five times and to have received the Joe Lex Teaching Award in 2019. Dr. Borhart greatly enjoys using simulation to teach stressful procedures such as complicated vaginal deliveries.
