Dr. Propersi serves as Vice-Chair and Assistant Residency Program Director of emergency medicine at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. He is passionate about speaking, medical education, and FOAMed. Dr. Propersi enjoys using the power of story to entertain, engage, and educate when lecturing. In 2021, he placed first in ACEP's new speaker competition and received the coveted Drop the Mic Award.
Dr. Propersi has spoken both regionally and nationally on various topics in emergency medicine. He is a regular contributor to the REBEL EM Blog. His blog posts and podcasts have also appeared on EM Over Easy and the ICE Blog. In addition, he was nominated for an institutional teaching award across 3 different academic years.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Propersi enjoys spending time with his wife and triplet daughters, reading, snowboarding, and fitness.
