Elias Wan, MD FAAEM completed medical school at Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University in 2014 and Emergency Medicine Residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in 2017. He went on to finish a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine Montefiore Medical Center in 2019, of which he was the Chief Academic Fellow of the program in his second year. Elias Wan, MD currently is an attending intensivist for the Cardiothoracic ICU at Maimonides Medical Center and the Critical Care track director for the Emergency Medicine Residency at Maimonides. He has served as a committee member in the Educational Committee at EMRA and MD calc fellow during residency and fellowship, and currently serves as the Chair for the Critical Care Medicine Section Council at AAEM. He loves to talk about mechanical support and resuscitation at work, but in his free time he enjoys coming up with nutritious meals for his picky daughters.
