Originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Dr. Pardo's family immigrated to Miami, FL when she was two years old. Throughout her childhood, Dr. Pardo was always struck by differences in quality of life, both locally and internationally. Her choice to pursue medicine stemmed from a desire to dismantle health disparities and practice medicine through a social justice lens. Dr. Pardo graduated from Amherst College in Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics in 2015. She attended Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL for medical school. While in medical school, Dr. Pardo was integral in the development of a 4-year health equity and social justice leadership program for medical students. Due to her dedication to service, Dr. Pardo was awarded the United States Public Health Service 2021 Excellence in Public Health Award. Dr. Pardo completed residency at the University of Chicago Emergency Medicine Residency Program in 2024. She is currently Clinical Faculty in the Emergency Department at Rush University Medical Center.
