She speaks nationally on the practice of rural and community medicine, with a focus on obstetrical emergencies. She also is the previous past chair of the Workforce Committee and is considered an expert in workforce issues within emergency medicine. She serves as the Medical Director at UVMMC and Division Chief for Clinical Operations at the UVM Health Network.
