Dr. Christopher Sampson is a Professor of Emergency Medicine at University of Missouri School of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate education at Tulane University in New Orleans. He graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland in 2003 and completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Washington University in Saint Louis where he served as Chief Resident. He is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services. After a decade in Saint Louis, He joined the faculty at University of Missouri School of Medicine in 2013. He served as Program Director of the Emergency Medicine residency and currently is the Vice Chair of Research. He also serves as medical director for multiple EMS agencies in the central Missouri region. He is internationally recognized as an expert in medical simulation and education through competition.
