Lieutenant Commander (LCDR) Tyler Baldino is a senior Emergency Medicine resident at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. LCDR Baldino attended medical school at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. Following internship, LCDR Baldino completed the U.S Navy Undersea Medical Officer (UMO) Course and was subsequently the Medical Department Head and UMO for Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit FIVE (EODMU5) on the island of Guam. LCDR Baldino then returned to Naval Medical Center Portsmouth to complete a residency in Emergency Medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys caving, technical scuba diving, and skydiving.
