Melissa Myers is an Associate Professor of Military and Emergency Medicine at the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine. She is the Director for the Pre-Clerkship Ultrasound Module and Operation Bushmaster, a military field practicum. In addition, she is faculty for the School of Medicine Medical Ethics Course.
She received a M.D. from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2012 and completed Emergency Medicine Residency at the Madigan Army Medical Center. She then completed an Ultrasound Fellowship at the San Antonio Military Medical Center. She is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography. She lives in Bethesda, Maryland with her husband and four children where she enjoys Crossfit, embroidery, and reading.
