George Willis is an Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Faculty Affairs at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. After completing his residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, he completed a Faculty Development Fellowship. He developed an academic niche in endocrine emergencies, vascular emergencies, procedural education, and medical education and has lectured nationally and internationally in each of these areas. He has won numerous teaching awards including ACEP’s National Junior Faculty Teaching Award, National Faculty Teaching Award, and EMRA’s Top 25 Under 45 Influencers in Emergency Medicine.
