Dr. Flint joined the Maryland faculty in 2021 after spending twenty years in community emergency medicine practice. Having held the roles of department medical director, EMS medical director as well as the education director for a regional staffing group, he brings significant experience in the areas of emergency department operations, administration, patient safety/risk management as well as the business of medicine. Dr. Flint received his Bachelor of Art in History from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. He is a proud graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After completing an Emergency Medicine Residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY he moved back to Maryland where he has resided and practiced since.
